Dear Prudence
Funny story:
The beatles were 68 in India, some meditation stuff, also the singer from the beach boys, Donovan and Mia farrow (don't know her) and her sister Prudence.
Donovan taught Lennon some kinda new fingerpicking style or so; well Prudence was kinda depressed, didn't leave her tent or so - so lennon wrote this song:
Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won't you come out to play
Dear Prudence open up your eyes
Dear Prudence see the sunny skies
The wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence won't you open up your eyes?
Look around round round
Look around round round
Look around round round
Dear Prudence let me see you smile
Dear Prudence like a little child
The clouds will be a daisy chain
So let me see you smile again
Dear Prudence won't you let me see you smile?
Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won't you come out to play
Funny thing is - i listened to this song when I phoned my upcoming brother in law about how 'bout makin' a band or something. Now I'm really feelin' a lot better.
A little bit like coming out of the depression... and its a fine piece of music.
Well, we all give Past Perfect another try, but i guess the band is kinda terminal. But I'm kinda in acceptance stage so no harm or so. Try to make the best of the last months. Then we'll see.
Heads up to Prudence
see ya
