Perfectionism
Well, I kinda thought I'd be the only one with perfectionism in the last few months.
Studyin' is atm kinda fine.
Band is... well... ok.
It meant a lot to me that a lot of my friends apprechiated the gig at the bierkeller (as well as those who were on the andino-gig)
About andino-gig:
But our singer said that she heard comments that we were "over-rehearsaled".
But it wasn't like we were playin' too "perfectly". But it was rather the other way round; and she simply seems not to wanna put a lot of work into rehearsals and so on. Everything else seems (for me) to be more important to her.
And it sucks that it kinda seems "3rd-choice-evening programme" on tuesdays.
Well... Perfectionism. What takes nice things apart from the really great stuff?
Why is Edvard Griegs "Morgenstimmung" (don't wanna look for the original name) so full of pleasant, yet absolutely obvious chord changes, mood changes, without being predictable?
Another example for a simple, but soulful ballad:
Stevie Ray Vaughan wrote it for his wife to express his love to her.
Well the Problem at hand: Why tryin' to improve something you don't know how to improve? Why am I kinda alright today? How's it gonna be tomorrow?
Well, lets try DR House style:
Differential Diagnosis:
-Sometimes good mood
-Sometimes partly depression
Well - even at House MD its not clear why people without underlying conditions are miserable. What takes us all apart about that?
Would being dumb be an answer?
Simply being affected by the media and don't think about the big picture?
Well... conclusion later on. maybe after hell froze or something like that...
